Using YTDub

YTDub helps you listen to supported YouTube captions in a language you choose. The Free plan is available without an account. Member features require a YTDub account and an active entitlement.

You must use YTDub lawfully and in line with the terms that apply to YouTube and any other service you use with it. You are responsible for the videos, captions, languages, and accounts you choose to use. YTDub is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

What we provide

Free includes caption-based playback and on-device speech synthesis. Member may add refined translation, support for videos without captions, and personal pronunciation settings when those features are available.

Availability depends on the source video, captions, your browser, network, and third-party services. We may change, improve, or stop a feature when needed to operate the service safely or comply with law. We do not promise that every video, language, or device will work.

Member plans and billing

Prices, duration, renewal terms, and available payment methods are shown before you confirm checkout. A monthly plan, where offered, renews only under the terms shown by its checkout provider. Vietnamese prepaid packages have a fixed duration and do not renew automatically.

Your access is attached to the YTDub account used at checkout. Do not share access credentials or try to bypass Member checks. Our Refund Policy explains cancellation, billing errors, and prepaid packages.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with YTDub, misuse another person's account, probe or bypass service limits, distribute the extension as your own, or use the service in a way that infringes rights or breaks applicable law. We may suspend access that creates a security, legal, or operational risk.

Third-party services

YTDub works with services that we do not control, including YouTube, browser platforms, speech providers, language-model providers, and payment providers. Their terms and policies apply to their services. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Limits and changes

To the extent permitted by law, YTDub is provided as available. We are not responsible for third-party outages, unavailable captions, or loss caused by using a video or service outside its own terms. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

We may update these terms when the product, law, or payment process changes. The current version is published on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
